I turned 37 today and it was possibly the best birthday yet. I took my son Lucas to his first wrestling tournament. Being in his spot before, I could sense his nervousness as he stepped on the scale for the first time to weigh in. My awareness kicked in, I realized I was giving off nervous energy and he was following my lead. Studying self-development daily over the past six years, the self-talk kicked in. “My energy is contagious. He will feed off my energy. Okay I’ve got this” I said to myself.... “I am calm and confident.
